What sparked your love of vintage?
Rummaging through my mum’s wardrobe as a girl, I always reached for her curated tray of perfumes & her heels. Unfortunately, I grew to be a size above her, but luckily I often borrow her archive of dresses for meaningful moments.
What's the best vintage find you've ever had?
I was looking for a specific Coach pebble bag for a long time and managed to manifest it into my TradeMe wishlist a few years ago. That and a $2 standard issue tulle tee that I found in Newtown’s Opportunity for Animals.
Is there an item you're currently looking for?
Perpetually on the hunt for a leather jacket that feels like me & hunting for Chloe dresses/tops for summer - I’m also building my Miss Crabb collection slowly.
What era do you find yourself drawn back to again and again?
I tend to spend more time thinking about accessorising to add to any look paired with elevated & well-made essentials; dressing up with bags & jewels. My clothes are often simple, 90’s-00’s adjacent ~ Lucy Liu winter/Rachel Bilson summer.
If you could only source vintage from one place, where would that be?
My friend Scarlett’s wardrobe is what’s coming to mind. She would say Tango Vintage in Parnell.
What's a wardrobe piece you'll have forever?
Apart from everything in my jewellery box, I’m more of a bag collector, so I’d have to say the vintage beaded bag I wore to my sister's wedding.
What's something you've read, watched, or seen recently that's inspired you?
Frankenstein (2025) inspired my Chills Winter 2026 custom collection of one-of-one statement pieces, including a large silver cuff and pendant of linked signature sparkles I named the Aurora Pendant. As of recently, I’ve been thinking about a work I saw at Forever Tomorrow: Chinese art now by Yang Yongliang an incredible lightbox illustration which is helping me spark my next photo project.
