What sparked your love of vintage?
Some of my earliest and best memories are op shopping with my mum. My parents had a sheep station in Marlborough, the Southern Alps, and were merino manufacturers. So growing up, she'd take me with her, looking for beautiful vintage fabrics, wool and patterns.
What's your favourite vintage find?
A hand-knitted baby pink mohair jumper. I found it in an op shop in Nelson around five years ago. I love it so much.
If you could only source vintage from one place, where would that be?
Random op shops! It's where you find the best hidden gems.
Is there anything you're currently looking for?
Swimwear. I'd love to find a vintage one-piece for this summer.
What's a wardrobe or homeware piece you'll have forever?
I have a collection of gold jewellery that my mum has been thrifting for years. Plus an antique table that belonged to my Grandad.
What's something you've read, watched, or seen recently that's inspired you?
I've been loving Spring and spending time at the beach in Port Waikato. It's so nice after being in the city for work. It's inspired me to pick up my camera and take photos, which I haven't done in ages but love to do.
